Suede Upper with GORE-TEX Lining

Crafted with suede, the upper of the Explorer is highly durable against possible snags and bumps, as well as being comfortable and breathable for enjoyable wear over long wear time. Providing you with a constant supply of airflow and exceptional waterproof protection, the Explorer utilise GORE-TEX technology. The GORE-TEX lining keeps feet pleasantly dry and offers optimised climate comfort for a broad range of outdoor activities. The boot also features rubber and TPU toe and heel caps that offer scuff and abrasion protection from unpredictable trails, increasing the lifespan of the upper so you can enjoy the shoe for miles to come. To further improve comfort, Lowa's X-lacing light has been implemented into the lace design, this holds the tongue in place both vertically and horizontally, ensuring the pressure from the laces is transferred to both the hooks and the tongue for blister-free fun while also preventing the tongue from unwantedly slipping. The laces continue down to the toe for a more tailored fit that precisely follows the shape of your foot.

Featuring Lowa's Litecell PU foam, the Explorer utilises advanced midsole technology, this offers superior cushioning at a lighter weight for easy and comfortable steps. The foam offers ample cushioning and softness underfoot, ensuring maximum comfort while delivering substantial support for hard-working feet. While carrying propulsive traits of a trail shoe, the Explorer maintains lateral stiffness and support of a trekking shoe for the ultimate blend of secure yet bouncy wear.

Vibram Trac Control Outsole

Utilising a Vibram Trac Control rubber outsole, the Explorer has high traction and girp over varying terrains for confident footing every step of the way. This high-performance outsole provides you with an unparalleled grip on both wet and dry surfaces, rugged longevity, and optimal ground adaptability. The rubber can form a solid bond with the ground beneath it, ensuring traction and control as you explore the unbeaten path. Wide set multi-directional lugs allow you to bite down into softer terrain for grip without fear of slipping. It is also instantly comfortable for immediate wear with no worry about breaking it in. The shoe has also been designed to be resoled, where the upper can be retained easily for a new sole to be refitted.
