Breathable Mesh Upper

The upper of the MQM Rush Flex hiking shoe has been constructed using a mesh fabric to allow optimal breathability and comfort, ensuring your feet remain dry and comfortable. The mesh actively and efficiently wicks away the build-up of excess sweat and moisture, creating a cool, dry and healthy environment for your feet to thrive. Additionally, cool air is encouraged to circulate, improving ventilation and comfort. Furthermore, Merrell have also incorporated their signature M Select FRESH technology to help eradicate odour-causing microbes to keep your shoes smelling fresher, for longer. Working alongside the mesh fabric is a TPU material, adding stability and a robust nature to the shoe for off-road and trail protection. The TPU helps to keep your shoes protected from any debris or sharp objects you typically find when on the unpredictable terrain.

Located at the rear of the shoe is a hyperlock moulded TPU heel counter for exceptional stability when walking. This helps to prevent the foot from moving side-to-side which may cause pain and discomfort, particularly in the ankles. Having the stability will allow you to hike with confidence, knowing you have the durability required to reach your goals. A kinetic fit BASE insole contours to the shape of your feet for flexible support and protective movements, adding stability and control as you walk. A stretch collar helps you to simply and efficiently put on and take off the shoe without causing any damage to the material or be left feeling uncomfortable on your feet. Rounding off the upper is the traditional lacing system, offering a secure-locked in fit and feel.

EVA Midsole

An EVA compound resides in the midsole for extreme cushioning and comfort to help improve the feel and performance of the shoe, especially on unpredictable terrain. The EVA also contains shock absorption properties and is highly responsive to help lessen the burden placed on your knees and joints. Assisting the EVA midsole material is FLEXconnect technology which contains dual directional flex-grooves for agility and stability to help provide control and performance as well as maintain a more efficient gait in the process.

M Select GRIP Outsole

Merrell have incorporated their M Select GRIP technology into the outsole for supreme grip and traction over variable terrain.
