Pig Suede Leather Upper

Constructed using pig suede leather, the upper of the Moab 2 Decon offers lightweight protection over uneven terrains, wherever your adventures take you. Keeping your feet covered and providing long-lasting wear, the upper resists abrasions and protects against the effects of rocks and roots, allowing you to walk with confidence in each step. Working alongside the leather material is a shearling collar and lining, which sits close to the foot to offer increased levels of comfort and warmth. The bellows tongue prevents dirt and stones from entering the boots, and finally, the boots utilise recycled laces and webbing for a locked-in, secure fit, which helps to reduce in-boot slipping for comfortable, confident strides.

EVA Foam Midsole

EVA foam has been used within the midsole to ensure a light, durable ride. This ensures ample underfoot cushioning to reduce the impact on the feet on tough trails while remaining as lightweight as possible, so you'll never feel weighed down. The lightweight midsole offers supreme supportive cushioning to key areas like the arch and heel, securing your foot for a smoother transition and wear. By supporting these key areas of the foot, the midsole material helps to prevent discomfort and possible injury. Teaming up with EVA foam is Merrell's Air Cushioning system, which is located in the heel to absorb shock and centres the heel on contact for added stability. Increasing comfort, Merrell has included an integrated EVA foam insole with a 100% recycled wool footbed cover for a soft feel from the moment you put them on.
