Synthetic Upper

Offering excellent support and structure, the Wave Leopardus features a synthetic upper. The synthetic materials have been added to offer exceptional support during lateral movements and protect from impact and abrasions. Alongside this, the upper features mesh panels for exceptional breathability to reduce overheating and keep you focused. The materials are moisture-wicking to prevent an uncomfortable growth of moisture and sweat, even during more intense games. Using a new innovative bootie construction, the shoes use a separate stretch inner and outer layer, providing an amazing fit, and work by adjusting perfectly to the contours of your feet. Not only this, but the shoes feature Mizuno's DynamotionFit technology, making the shoe feel as though it was specifically made for your foot. The technology adapts to your gait cycle, making it feel personalised. The Dura Shield protects your toes from discomfort during bumps and bashes when you're on the court, so you can confidently stride across hockey pitches. Finally, a traditional lacing system provides you with a secure, locked-in fit, helping to prevent in-shoe slipping from occurring.

PoWnCe and Mizuno ENERZY Midsole

Designed for comfort and protection, the midsole had been constructed using Mizuno's signature PoWnCe cushioning. PoWnCe offers excellent support and resilience properties, the lightweight construction ensures an abundance of cushioning underfoot that keeps your feet comfy through any match. Additionally, this shoe utilises Mizuno's signature Wave technology, which provides flexibility and support. The Wave absorbs shock without compromising comfort. The initial shock is then transferred back to guide you onto the next movement. Preventing partial deformation, the compound provides dynamic support to stabilise and propel the foot forward. Completing the midsole, Mizuno has incorporated a layer of ENERZY foam, which has been created to deliver a higher-than-ever energy return and softness, helping you to power through training and matches to perform at your best.

X-10 Rubber Outsole

Developed to provide traction and grip, the X-10 outsole is the perfect addition to the Wave Leopardus. The X-10 outsole provides superb traction on the court for quick and dynamic movement while increasing overall durability so you can continue confidently. X-10 allows for longer wear in high-impact areas and provides more traction during heel strike, so you'll always feel in complete control. Specifically engineered diagonal grooves known as D-Flex Grooves have been built into the midfoot area of the shoe to allow the player to turn at maximum speed and power by efficiently transferring natural body movement and change in direction.
