Woven Upper
The upper of the Hyperwarp Elite has been engineered with a lightweight woven fabric for comfort and minimised bulk. Hot, built-up vapour can escape freely and it also allows fresh air to flow in for a pleasant cooling sensation. The padded tongue increases softness and protects you from lace pressure, and the traditional lacing system lets you lock in the fit for confident strides. For an eco touch, 90% of the upper body lining textile is made from recycled content.
Dual Mizuno Enerzy XP Midsole
For speed and comfort, the midsole has been constructed using two different types of Mizuno Enerzy XP. A lighter-weight Mizuno Enerzy XP Lightweight peba top piece is combined with a more heavy-duty Mizuno Enerzy XP piece to give you the best of both worlds - lightweight speed and more comprehensive cushioning. They work to attenuate shock as you strike down, protecting your joints. This energy is converted into rebound, helping you run further, faster - for more economic, optimised running. Sandwiched between these layers is the Smooth Speed Plate, an innovative 3D full-length carbon fibre plate to effectively enhance running efficiency. It helps you maximise speed thanks to its snappy responsiveness, keeping you light on your feet and up on your toes for optimal gait. This is combined with Mizuno Wave technology, which guarantees a stable ride and greater dynamic cushioning.
G3 Outsole
The outsole is made from G3 PU resin and delivers excellent grip and traction to support speed running. It is lightweight, meaning you won't be weighed down despite its grip, and the outsole has been engineered with shapes specific to the rear foot and forefoot to assist with landings, toe-offs and turns.
