Smooth Stretch Woven Mesh Upper

Super breathable and soft, with some stretch, the Wave Skyrise 7 features a unique woven mesh upper perfect for a range of running styles. Gently wrapping around your foot, the uppers supply your feet with a constant level of cool, fresh air, particularly in the toebox, helping to prevent overheating, whilst extra padding in the rear adds structure. The mesh design sits softly against your foot, reducing irritation, and with moisture-wicking properties, prevents excessive sweat build-up during intense periods. Additionally, this soft upper allows you to move your feet flexibly and freely, thanks to its smooth stretch design. A soft, padded tongue is comfortable against your skin, and works with the cushioned collar and traditional laces to keep your foot locked in, reducing in-shoe slipping during exercise.

Mizuno Enerzy NXT Midsole

Featuring a Mizuno Enerzy NXT, the Wave Skyrise 7s midsole is ultra-soft, responsive and assists in the next level of performance. Lighter than previous Enerzy midsoles, the cushioning ensures excellent energy return and a soft, bouncy experience. Preparing you for every hurdle, the shoes feature Mizuno Wave, strategically placed under the heel, resulting in a pillow-like sensation, great for a variety of running techniques. It enhances both cushioning and stability. The wide platform provides a more stable landing and assists heel-strikers with a smooth toe-off. Atop this, a Premium Insock provides step-in comfort and is removable.

X10 Outsole

Blending excellent durability and grip, the Wave Skyrise 7 features Mizuno's X10 Carbon rubber. The outsole uses highly durable rubber strategically placed in areas where you need it most for reliability and longevity. Present across the forefoot and heel, the outsole is bound to last through long miles and rigorous training. Strategic flex grooves also work to encourage flexibility underfoot, meaning strides are more comfortable and less restricted.
