Breathable Mesh Upper

Created with a mesh upper, the Wave Momentum Elite provides exceptional breathability and comfort. Providing constant airflow, perforations allow cool air to circulate while heat escapes, keeping feet cool so you remain comfortable on the court. Mizuno has used a new last for this model compared to other shoes in the Momentum range. The shoes also use a half-bootie construction, making it easier to tighten the shoelaces and achieve a snug, foot-hugging fit. Designed with thicker padding, the shoe's opening offers a softer, more cushioned feel. A Dura Shield also features to ensure durability and protect your toes. A traditional lacing system completes the upper, securing the midfoot to reduce excessive movement for a locked-in fit and feel.

Using two foams in the midsole, the Wave Momentum Elite offers outstanding comfort and support. The shoes feature Mizuno ENERZY, which provides more cushioning and energy return, allowing you to move faster on the court. The midsole absorbs the shock without compromising comfort. In the forefoot, Mizuno has included ENERZY Core to provide extra bounce and increased energy return, springing you into your next step so you can play for longer. Mizuno Wave technology enhances the in-shoe cushioning and increases stability. The Wave prevents partial deformation and provides dynamic support to stabilise and guide the foot forward. The outer side of the midsole at the midfoot uses a wrapped design, greatly enhancing stability during play.

Non-Marking Outsole

To ensure grip and traction across the court, the Wave Momentum Elite features a non-marking outsole. This outsole is highly durable, preventing damage and marks on the court surface when turning or moving quickly, and provides outstanding traction for keeping you stable during the game. This outsole helps you make short, sharp movements on the court confidently. The shoes use an outrigger structure to improve stability, meaning the sole extends at the pinky toe area for extra support.
