One of Mountain Equipment's lightest, most streamlined packs yet, the Orcus series is a climbing favourite. Crafted from M210 ROBIC N66 nylon, the pack is extremely durable and abrasive-resistant, with water-resistant properties, to keep your essentials safely stored away while you adventure the great outdoors. With a 22L capacity, it is generous yet streamlined for speed. The roll-top closure helps to seal out inclement weather and compresses the pack's contents for a secure and stable carry when climbing. A zipped pocket provides a secure place to store your valuables and EVA composite shoulder straps sit comfortably on your shoulder for convenient carrying. The Orcus is highly versatile with several removable features, including a removable rope strap with an aluminium Grappler buckle, a removable 20mm webbing hipbelt (that helps disperse the pack weight) and a removable EVA back panel, allowing you to fine-tune the pack to your needs. The EVA back panel ensures comfortable carrying with soft padding against the back to protect you from any sharp items in the bag. When removed, it allows the pack to be rolled up and stowed away into a larger pack, making this an ideal bag for expedition use. The pack is hydration compatible (bladder not included) for quick hydration on the move, and dual webbing axe retainers keep ice axes safely stored. An external daisy chain, elasticated compression cord system and haul loops allow you to attach any extra kit you might want, such as walking poles or carabiners.
