A super cosy, comfortable jacket, the Oreus Jacket is the result of a 5-year development project to produce one of the best mid-weight synthetic products on the market. Highly versatile, the jacket will accompany you on all your future adventures, whether it's hill walking in Scotland, or rock climbing on high crags, it's the perfect garment. It can also be worn as an outer layer, a super warm mid-layer or thrown over the top of everything as a lightweight belay jacket. Utilising groundbreaking Aertherm insulation, the Oreus provides you incredible warmth-to-weight ratio, keeping you super cosy and ready to tackle the chilly hike ahead. Additionally, the insulation is super packable so can be packed down small into its pocket for convenient stashing. Aetherm Precision Insulation is warmer than anything of equivalent weight as well as is extremely breathable, to prevent overheating or becoming uncomfortable. A heat-reflective layer also works to increase warmth. The garment is incredibly lightweight and super breathable thanks to the PLASMA 10D outer fabric with a PFAs-free DWR finish. Highly durable and protective the garment will ensure you remain comfortable and ready to tackle your next adventures. Water-resistant properties provide you with some protection and shielding in light rain and moist conditions. An integrated Mountain HC Insulated Hood shields you from changing weather and protects you from blustery winds, is fully adjustable and fits over a helmet with ease. Providing ventilation control and an easy on/off structure, the jacket has a 2-way YKK moulded centre front zip with a rear insulated baffle, which is easy to use even with gloves on. Elasticated cuffs and dual tether hem drawcords prevent windchill and allow you to make preferences to the fit of the garment. The jacket has been cut with a regular fit to maximise thermal efficiency and allow full freedom of movement, and the articulated, pre-shaped sleeves allow for greater mobility. The Oreus features 2 zipped hand pockets, alongside a chest pocket and an internal drop pocket with twin karabiner carry loops to provide you space and storage for essentials you want to access easily on your hike. The internal pocket doubles as a pack pocket, allowing you to tuck it away when not in use.
