Venture out in the coldest of conditions in the Paiyu. Unlike other down jackets, its unique structure eliminates areas where cold leaks through stitch lines, thanks to the dual-layer offset baffle construction. The thick baffles are filled with RDS 3.0 certified, DOWN CODEX verified 90/10 700 fill Pure Down insulation, delivering a great warmth-to-weight ratio while being highly compressible and durable. The jacket meets full expedition specification, meaning you're guaranteed warmth even in biting cold. A heat-reflective backing keeps the heat locked in whilst remaining breathable. 40D PU-coated DRILITE Loft shell fabric keeps you protected and comfortable with water-resistant, windproof and breathable action. The woven downproof 20 Denier lining gives exceptional moisture transfer, comfort and packability. The Mountain HC insulated hood is fully adjustable and provides extra coverage when needed, and is also compatible with helmets. The external hood seams have been minimised for greater weather resistance. The jacket also features a plethora of pockets, with two outer hand pockets, two chest pockets, an inner zipped security pocket and two large inner mesh pockets, for plenty of storage space for essentials. Use the internal pockets to keep water, etc., unfrozen when the mercury drops. The two-way full-length zip has an Offset insulated rear baffle to minimise heat loss and wind ingress and is easy to use with gloves on and helps with harness access. The sleeves are designed for improved mobility, with elasticated Velcro sleeve openings that allow a close fit to keep in warmth and keep out the elements. Dual tether drawcords provide easy adjustment and increase thermal efficiency. The stuff sack provided keeps the jacket safe when not in use.
