Filled with 100% Post-Consumer recycled down and made from 100% recycled Polyamide, the Earthrise continues Mountain Equipment's journey to develop simple, highly functional insulated clothing. It offers an efficient yet comfortable fit with optimised down fill, remaining a tried-and-tested classic, perfect for overnight camps, alpine ski tours, and cold-weather walks.
Designed from a durable, lightweight outer material, the Earthrise has a windproof, moisture-resistant and breathable construction for a cosy wearing experience. The 100% recycled Earthrise 20 denier outer fabric has an FC-free water-repellent finish that protects you from melting flakes of snow or a brief shower. The garment is filled with 700-fill power post-consumer recycled down, which provides an excellent warmth-to-weight ratio and a narrow stitched-through baffle construction that keeps you warm and cosy, allowing the down to loft. The 100% recycled woven downproof 20 denier lining gives exceptional moisture transfer, comfort and packability. Keeping you warm during chilly adventures, the jacket has a Mountain HC Insulated Hood, which is fully adjustable to keep you shielded from wind and rain (and helmet compatible). An array of pockets across the garment provides space for essentials, including 2 outer hand pockets, an outer chest pocket and an inner security pocket for smaller items. The jacket packs into one of the hand pockets so you can stow it in your pack or in your harness pocket. The two-way full-length zip is easy to use with gloves on and helps with harness access. An insulated rear zip baffle minimises heat loss and wind ingress, and dual tether drawcords provide adjustment and increase thermal efficiency.
