These Mountain Equipment gloves are essential equipment for walking and trekking in cold conditions. The outer layer of the gloves has been made with a durable and abrasion-resistant 160D Nylon to keep them looking in top condition wear after wear. To keep you warm, they have included POLARLOFT insulation that provides reliable warmth. POLARLOFT Synthetic insulation offers an excellent warmth-to-weight ratio, small pack size, and performance optimised for its intended use. Inside the gloves, a microfleece lining has been included to increase warmth, with a comfy next-to-skin feel. Also included in the gloves is a DRILITE insert that seals out the worst of the weather. Drilite is Mountain Equipment's own breathable, waterproof fabric. This allows built-up heat and vapour to escape whilst stopping water molecules from entering the gloves, keeping your hand dry and warm at all times. The gloves feature pre-curved fingers and thumb to give a secure grip, whilst a Suregrip palm improves grip on poles or ice axes. Finishing the gloves is a single-handed drawcord closure that easily seals out the elements.
