Mountain Equipment Earthrise Women's Down Jacket
Filled with 100% Post-Consumer recycled down and made from 100% recycled Polyamide the Earthrise continues Mountain Equipment's journey to develop simple, highly functional insulated clothing. It offers an efficient yet comfortable fit with optimised downfall, and remains a tried and tested classic that is perfect for overnight camps, alpine ski tours and cold weather walks.
Designed from a durable, lightweight outer material, the Earthrise has a windproof, moisture-resistant and breathable construction for a cosy wearing experience. The 100% recycled Earthrise 20 Denier outer fabric has an FC-free water-repellent finish to protect you against melting flakes of snow or a brief shower. The garment is filled with 700-fill power post-consumer recycled down, which provides an excellent warmth-to-weight ratio with compressing properties and a stitched-through baffle construction that keeps you warm and cosy and allows the down to loft. The 100% recycled woven downproof 20 Denier lining gives exceptional moisture transfer, comfort and packability. To further ensure you remain warm during chilly adventures, the hooded jacket has a Mountain HC Insulated Hood which is fully adjustable to keep you shielded from wind and rain (and helmet compatible). An array of pockets feature across the garment to provide you with space to store and stash essentials, including 2 outer hand pockets and an outer chest pocket, as well as, an inner security pocket for smaller items. The jacket packs away into one of the hand pockets to allow you to stow away in your pack or on your harness pocket. The two-way full length zip is easy to use with gloves on and helps with harness access, and the arms have been cut especially for improved mobility, with elasticted cuffs to seal out the elements. An insulated rear zip baffle to minimise heat loss and wind ingress, and dual tether drawcords provide adjustment and increase thermal efficiency. The Earthrise Hooded Women's Jacket is a valuable all-around insulated mountain layer.
