The Power Up Hoodie is a super warm, highly breathable, close-fitting mid-layer designed specifically for high-level activity in the mountains. Polartec Power Stretch fabric works exceptionally well at wicking moisture away from the skin and regulating body temperature but also provides warmth during less active periods.
The Montane Power Up Hoody is constructed with Polartec Power Grid which is a highly technical performance fabric. Lightweight and quick drying, the brushed grid backer reduces weight, increases thermal efficiency and wicks moisture away from the skin.
Polartec Power Grid was created to push the performance of Polartech base fabric technologies even further. By developing a patented grid design structure Polartec discovered a new way to reduce fabric weight while increasing warmth and compressibility by generating channels of targeted touch points that absorb and diffuse moisture vapour for faster evaporation.
In addition, the Power Up Hoodie features Polygiene technology that works in tandem with the Polartec to prevent the growth of odour causing microbes, ensuring your gear smells fresher for longer. the hoof provides a snug fit with a rear pre-elastication which will go easily under a climbing helmet for added coverage and protection from the bitter weather. A zipped mesh lined chest pocket is perfect for storing a GPS or mobile phone as well as provides additional ventilation if needed.
