Montane Featherlite Down Pro Pull-On Jacket

With a technical material specification, comprised of light and tough PERTEX Quantum CS-10 fabric and premium Allied Feather and Down Titanium water resistant fluorocarbon-free HyperDRY ECO goose down, the Featherlite Down Pro Pull-On is a super-packable and versatile mountain insulation layer.

The Montane Featherlite Down Pro Pull-On Jacket is equipped with PERTEX Quantum CS-10 fabric which uses yarns with unique diamond shaped filaments, which lock together to provide a very stable construction. These tightly interlocking filaments give these fabrics over twice the abrasion resistance of fabrics made with traditional circular filament yarns, in addition to improved water beading properties. While highly durable, these fabrics are exceptionally soft to the touch, extremely downproof and lend a beautiful sheen. Constructed with 150g of high quality 90/10 Allied Feather and Down Titanium water resistant fluorocarbon-free HyperDRY ECO goose down at 800+ fill power which provides a lightweight and water-resistant insulation. Lastly, the running jacket is lined with a PEAQ Down fabric which is supremely comfortable next to the skin, highly breathable and fast drying, while the micro baffle construction allows for dynamic movement which is essentials when up in the mountains.

The hood configuration has a fully adjustable climbing helmet compatible hood which is designed to fit comfortably over a helmet with side volume compression for a close fit around the head or the helmet. To keep the warmth in, the hood features an adjustable face aperture with internal cord exits to cinch in and the peak of the hood is reinforced with foam for added stability. For when the hood is not needed, an internal elastic loop and hook on the rear hood with a compression drawcord allows the hood to be rolled down and stowed away.

The centre front zip is fitted with a two-way YKK reverse coil deep zip which can be used for venting and for accessing internal layers and pockets, while the internal storm flap behind the centre front zip prevents weather entry, keeping you feeling dry during those rainy conditions. To ensure comfort, the rollover chinguard is lined with brushed fine microfleece which is soft against the mouth and the chin.

The jacket is equipped with an internal left-hand side stretch mesh pocket and a front pocket with a YKK reverse coil zip which is positioned well clear of the backpack or climbing harness belt. The jacket can also be easily stowed away in the front pocket for easy storage for when it is not needed. With the use of ergonomic zip pullers on the jacket, it ensures they are easy to use when wearing gloves or mitts.
