Built using windproof Pertex Quantum, this lightweight down jacket offers wind protection, and the recycled nylon ripstop with a PFAs-free DWR keeps off light rain. The jacket has been filled with 90/10 ExpeDRY goose down at 800+ fill power for great warmth at a low weight ratio. The down has been treated to be water-repellent and quick-drying, perfect for damper conditions. The chemical-free technology works because the integrated gold particles vibrate water molecules, just like heat does, to speed up evaporation at a rate faster than the water absorption rate of down, while managing moisture from the body. Panels under the arms are filled with synthetic insulation to retain warmth even when wet, and feature 4-way stretch for freedom of movement and reduced bulk. The REACH construction has been optimised for forward reach and mobility, and the PIVOT 2 hood provides extra coverage when you need it, with adjustable aperture and crown. An internal pocket and two YKK Natulon recycled zipped hand pockets provide plenty of storage on the move. Finally, a Cube stuff sack keeps the jacket compact when not in use.
