The 100% windproof Pertex Quantum rip-stop outer is not only tough and durable, but also has superior water repellency properties. This, combined with the Hypalon panel on the sole of the sock, ensures that the Fireball remains suitably robust. The insulated 40g of Primaloft Gold has been implemented to retain heat, ensuring that the feet remain warm and dry.
PrimaLoft Gold is an ultra-fine microfibre insulation that is exceptionally warm, soft and lightweight when wet or dry. The ultra-fine fibres form tiny air pockets that mimic the compressibility of goose down, trap body heat and are breathable, allowing moisture vapor to be transported through and away from the skin.
A comfortable microfleece lining throughout provides warmth and with the soft ribbed ankle cuff ensures a close, comfortable fit. The Fireball should be first on your list when planning a trip away.
