Constructed using Pertex Quantum Air, the Mountain Hardwear Kor Cirrus Hybrid Jacket improves durability and abrasion resistance without adding any unnecessary weight. Pertex Quantum Air uses an open woven structure which works to keep you comfortable and warm when temperatures drop. Perfect for intense mountain persuits, the Pertex fabrication is highly breathable meaning it works to keep you comfortable and cool at all times. The jacket allows cool air to flow throughout its construction whilst, at the same time allowing hot, humid air to escape; this creates a perfect microclimate for your skin to thrive in. As well as this, the jacket also works to block out cold winds so you can remain warm when the mercury drops. Finishing off the Pertex construction is a DWR treatment which repels light rain and mositure to keep you dry when the weather changes. Futhermore, Primaloft Gold Active insulation has also been used within the jacket to ensure added warmth. The highly breathable stretch insulation, is mapped for core warmth on bitter days. The fabrication keeps you body temperature stabilised at all times by trapping heat within its fibers to ensure comfortable warmth on cold days. The ultra-lightweight down makes this jacket perfect for layering over mid-layers or under equipment without feeling restricted or weighed down but still delivering exceptional comfort and warmth.
The articulated fit of the jacket is designed to fit close to the body allowing the fabric to perform and for the jacket to easily and comfortably be layered as a kit. The hood offers extra protection against bad weather. A full zip enables you to lock in the warmth or adjust the ventilation, whilst a single interior toggle hem has been fitted in the jacket to allow for easy adjustment, giving the wearer the desired fit for a secure, comfortable fit. Two secure zipped handwarmer pockets offer a cosy refuge to chilly hands and secure storage spaces for essential items. Lastly, The jacket can be stowed and zipped away into its own pocket which makes it conveniently packable.
