The highly durable is also water repellent meaning it will shed rain and snow easily for the winter months. It also works to block out cold winds so you can remain toasty and warm when the temperature drops. An 800-fill RDS-certified, down insulation, has also been used within the gilet to provide supreme comfort and warmth for all winter wear. The 800-fill down resists moistures and is highly breathable to ensure the gilet returns maximum loft to keep you warm and protected against the bitter cold. The low-profile quilt pattern used throughout the gilet creates heat-trapping down channels to give extra warmth on cold weather days. The ultra-lightweight down makes this gilet perfect for layering over mid-layers or under equipment without feeling restricted or weighed down but still delivering exceptional comfort and warmth. The regular fit of the gilet is designed to fit close to the body allowing the fabric to perform and for the gilet to easily and comfortably be layered as a kit. A full zip enables you to lock in the warmth or adjust the ventilation, whilst a single interior toggle hem has been fitted in the gilet to allow for easy adjustment, giving the wearer the desired fit for a secure, comfortable fit. Two secure zipped handwarmer pockets offer a cosy refuge to chilly hands and secure storage spaces for essential items. The gilet can be stowed and zipped away into its own pocket which makes it conveniently packable. A built-in secure loop has been added to the gilet for a carabiner attachment to a harness when it is stuffed.
