Built for half- and full-marathon training, the New Balance FuelCell SuperComp Trainer v3 delivers comfort every step of the way.
Featuring a breathable, mesh upper, the FuelCell SuperComp Trainer delivers an extremely breathable and lightweight feel. This breathable design ensures that your feet remain cool and comfortable during those longer runs. The mesh allows the build-up of warm air to escape, and cool air to circulate, so that you can stay focused on reaching your goals without the worry of discomfort. A flat-knit tongue further minimises distractions to enhance comfort while the no-sew overlays offer a sleek fit and feel. This design provides a locked-in fit feeling for a reliable and secure fit that remains lightweight. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system that gives a secure fit that locks the foot in place comfortably.
The FuelCell midsole compound is a nitrogen-infused foam that quickly drives you off the cushioning platform and delivers long-lasting performance. Delivering high-rebound, the FuelCell SuperComp creates an energetic, propulsive feel with an ultra-lightweight running experience. The propulsive feel helps to drive you forward for an even faster feeling on race days. The midsole absorbs shocks and negative impact forces as you heel strike and uses the energy to catapult you off into your next step, allowing you to be faster still. It is made with approximately 3% bio-based content for a more eco-friendly choice. Featuring an Energy Arc, the FuelCell SuperComp pairs sport-specific carbon fibre plate geometry with strategic midsole voids. This has been designed to increase stored energy to deliver a higher amount of total energy returned. Completing the midsole is an angular design that helps to reduce weight and provide a more lightweight feel.
Compleing the Fuelcell SuperComp Trainer v3 is a lightweight rubber outsole that provides great traction and durability. The lightweight rubber compound won't hold you back on race day, so you are free to push harder and reach your goals. With added durability, the outsole protects the midsole so that every step is cushioned during many long races.
