Mixed Materials Upper

The upper of the Juniper Trail 2 has been made with a mix of materials for ultimate performance. Mesh covers the majority of the foot, providing a highly ventilated environment for your feet, allowing hot air and vapour to escape and allowing fresh air to flow in for a pleasant cooling sensation. Synthetic leather and engineered textiles up the durability of the shoe, protecting your feet and the shoe itself from loose rocks and debris on the trail. The shoes have pull loops at the back to assist with putting the shoes on and taking them off. Flywire cables integrate with the laces for a secure feel, locking down the midfoot for greater stability and control, while the inner sleeve wraps your midfoot for a comfortable, sock-like fit.

Cushioned Full-Length Midsole

A full-length platform of cushioning resides underfoot to deliver feathery durability plus smooth responsiveness. The reactive nature of this midsole material means it absorbs impact and then expels it back out for a bounce-like effect. The outsole of the Juniper Trail 2 is made from ultra-durable rubber for maximum control. See the speckles on the outsole? That means it's made with at least 8% Nike Grind material, made from scraps from the footwear manufacturing process. This means that this shoe is good for your run and good for the planet. The rubber is hard-wearing and resists damage, whilst the tapered lugs provide great multidirectional traction, helping you run efficiently up and downhill and tackling rocky trails with no issue.
