Nike Structure 26 Women's Running Shoes
The Structure 26's supportive cushioning provides steadiness for everyday runs. A full-length ReactX midsole delivers a cushioned and stable transition from heel to toe off. Plus, a tried-and-true midfoot support system wraps around your arch and heel to provide a firm platform.
Enginnered Mesh Upper
Designed to be lighter and more supportive than the 25, the Structure 26 has been constructed using an engineered mesh upper. The mesh has been designed with larger perforations in high heat areas. This encourages cool air to flow while releasing built-up heat, keeping you cool and comfortable so you can focus on the road ahead. The mesh upper provides a lightweight, secure feel, keeping you light and comfortable even when training heats up. An improved plush tongue and collar improve comfort and fit while providing a locked-in feel. Nike included reflective details to ensure you remain seen in low-light conditions, allowing you to continue training early in the morning or late at night. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system that locks down the midfoot to reduce in-shoe slippage for distraction-free strides.
ReactX Midsole
The Structure 26 utilises a ReactX foam midsole. This soft midsole foam provides a more comfortable, responsive landing base. ReactX delivers exceptional energy return, which helps forward propulsion, for natural, effortless strides that help enhance your performance. The foam reduces the use of superfluous muscle power, further helping to prevent fatigue and enhance your running performance. The extra cushioning softens the impact from striking down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces, preventing further risks of injury or discomfort. The foam is 13% more responsive than previous React technology, pushing you further, faster than ever, helping you hit those PBs easily. The shoes use a higher stack height underfoot for increased stability and support, while a new midfoot support system helps slow the rate of ankle eversion and provides a stable platform for transition and toe-off.
Durable Outsole
The outsole has received an update from the 25th, this sees a new tread pattern to provide increased flexibility throughout, allowing for a more natural feel, for a more stable run. The outsole features a lighter and more flexible rubber in the forefoot, improving the cushioning, while high-abrasion rubber in the heel increases durability. The rubber excels in wet and dry conditions, offering a sticky grip and a stable base for you to push off.
