Engineered Mesh Upper

Tried-and-trusted, the upper of the ACG Pegasus promotes in-shoe freshness to keep feet cool for the entirety of your trail run. Perforations within the upper ensure air can circulate effectively, allowing heat to escape and making room for cooling freshness. The material also protects the foot from snags and reduces distractions when racking up the miles. Water drains quickly from the materials, preventing water from sloshing around in the shoes and drying quickly for dry feet when under pressure. Nike has also used a new last specifically for the trails, with a widened toe box and forefoot to promote better stability over uneven terrain. Boosting foot protection and enhancing durability, a rubber wrap has been added to the toes, reducing direct impact and preventing injury whilst reducing damage for a highly reliable trail partner. A heel pull tab has been added to the back of the collar to assist putting the ACG Pegasus on. Finally, a traditional lacing system has been added to secure the midfoot and reduce in-shoe slippage when heading uphill and descending.

The foam's reactive nature means it absorbs impact when hitting hard, unforgiving surfaces below, then expels it through your next stride, for a bounce-like effect which spares your joints and reduces the risk of injury. This energy-return technology slows fatigue while enhancing performance, keeping you running longer. The foam has an element of stability to it, providing you with great balance over uneven terrain for boosted confidence in every step.

With updated technologies, the All-Terrain Compound 2.0 provides you with better-than-before grip and traction over a mix of conditions. The ACG Pegasus is suitable for door-to-trail use, ensuring you are stable on pavements, gravel and trails alike. With increased traction on wet surfaces, you stick to the ground with more confidence in every step. The flex groove design allows the foot to move more naturally through the gait cycle, while increasing surface area for better grip and traction on the surface below.
