Structural overlays have been strategically placed to provide extra support around the foot, while a secure midfoot band ensures a contained feeling for a confident fit. Comfort has not been forgotten, as a plush tongue and collar have been used to improve the fit and hug the foot. A traditional lacing system has been utilised to pull the upper together and lock down the midfoot, minimising the chance of in-shoe slippage. To complete the upper, Nike has used reflective detailing to improve visibility in low light conditions.
