Two Layer Engineered Mesh Upper

Providing your feet with durable protection and high breathability, the OMM Ultra utilises a two-layered engineered mesh upper. The soft yet durable two-layer construction accommodates natural foot movement and swelling, to reduce irritation over long periods while maintaining the resilience needed for repeated use. The upper is designed with perforations throughout to encourage cool air to flow while releasing built-up heat, keeping feet cool and comfortable no matter how intense your run gets on the trail. Enhancing the shoes' durability, OMM has added TPU overlays across the toes. Not only do they deflect blows from trail debris and rocks for a long-lasting shoe, but they also protect your feet and help prevent injury. They have also strengthened high-wear areas, supporting repeated high-mileage, making them perfect for those long trail runs. Completing the upper of the OMM Ultra is the X-lacing system, which ensures a locked-in, secure fit across long runs. Created to spread tension across the foot and reduce pressure points for a comfortable feel from the moment you put them on. The Plus model provides additional forefoot volume for runners who prefer a wider fit.

EVA Midsole

Using a thick wedge of lightweight EVA, the shoes provide maximum energy return and comfort underfoot. Delivering a cushioned platform, it absorbs repeated blows while supporting efficient forward movement over time. The EVA's shock-absorbing properties reduce injury risk by absorbing the impact when striking the surface below, keeping things comfortable underfoot when you're travelling across constantly changing terrain. The lightweight EVA midsole is tuned to balance softness with energy return, helping reduce fatigue across extended efforts. OMM has been able to mould the midsole into a wave shape, which helps improve stability and comfort by reducing internal compression and limiting any movement of the foot inside the shoe.

Vibram Megagrip Outsole

Completing the OMM Ultra is a Vibram Megagrip with Litebase outsole, ensuring traction and grip on varied terrain. Megagrip is a high-performance rubber compound that provides unparalleled grip on wet and dry surfaces, rugged longevity and optimal ground adaptability. The rubber can form a solid bond with the ground beneath to ensure traction and control as you explore the unbeaten path. Furthermore, impressive 4-6mm Vibram Traction lugs adorn the outsole to provide flexible, sticky multi-directional traction as you tackle awkward ascents and daring descents.
