O'Neill GORE-TEX 3L Psycho Tech Anorak
Preparing you for all your winter adventures, the 3L Psycho Tech Anorak is a warm, waterproof layer of protection during the chilly ski season.
Designed to keep you cosy in the winter, the Psycho Tech Anorak has a 3 layer construction, for weatherproofing at its best. A GORE-TEX membrane provides you with the core protection necessary during your next skiing adventure. The GORE-TEX is a very thin layer of ePTFE alongside a laminated outer fabric and can often be lined. The materials have a waterproof rating of 28,000mm and windproofing of between 6 and 13, as well as, is permeable to water vapour. This, therefore, provides you with protection against an array of weather conditions. Providing you with additional breathability, the jacket has underarm zips, allowing air to flow efficiently through the jacket, whereas, an integrated hood allows you to stay covered in strong winds or cold weather. A removable powder skirt acts as a barrier against cold and snowy weather and has an attachment for your jacket or pants. The jacket also has an integrated Recco technology safety system, which has been based on radar technology, helping emergency services find people after an avalanche. The Recco system is built into the product allows waves to reflect back to the transmitter, therefore, assisting the rescue team to find victims faster. It is also complementary to other security systems which are used for off-piste skiing/boarding. A two-way asymmetric zip allows you to fully control the airflow through your jacket and makes it easier to take on and off. A drawstring hem also allows you to make necessary adjustments to the fit of your garment, which also prevents windchill from occurring. Finally, allowing you to store away any essentials, and with easy access to them, the garment has multiple pockets throughout.
