Matryx Upper

Showcasing a highly resistant upper, the Cloudultra Peak ensures protection from a variety of elements to make sure you reach your destination still swathed in dry comfort. The upper utilises Matryx, which is a high-performance textile that is highly durable against possible bumps and snags on unpredictable trails. Yarn threads have been individually coated in high-tenacity Kevlar to both improve durability while allowing air to freely enter the shoes with ease. The fabric is also hydrophobic, effectively blocking wet weather from entering and causing discomfort. A flat-laying tongue has been used for minimal movement when wearing, while a traditional lacing system helps lock down the midfoot into place for a secure fit.

Dual Foam Helion Midsole

Utilising On's Helion technology, the midsole of the Cloudultra Peak features dual-layered foams to offer you the best underfoot feel. Ensuring outstanding energy return, experience propulsive boosts to every step with a top layer of On's Helion Hyper Foam. When striking down on unforgiving surfaces, shock is absorbed into the foam, dissipating direct impact and protecting your joints and feet from injury. Absorbed shock is released within your following stride as propulsive energy, giving you a needed motivational boost in every step. A bottom layer of Helion has been added to boost stability over uneven terrain for miles to come. On's CloudTec cushioning system has been utilised in the Cloudultra Peak, which offers a fine-tuned fit into every step as it works alongside the foam to improve stability.
