The Osprey Hikelite 18 Backpack features Osprey's AirSpeed system which is a suspended mesh back panel that helps to keep you cool and comfortable when you're out for a hike. The backpack uses a fixed BioStretch harness created with elastic binding to deliver maximum flexibility without sacrificing stability for dynamic body movement. Providing constant airflow Osprey has used spacer mesh over die-cut foam to provide a breathable, comfortable contact surface, for all-day use. An integrated and detachable rain cover has been included to keep your items dry, this has been finished with a DWR (Durable Water Resistant) coating that helps to repel rain and moisture. The rain cover hides in a pocket on the base, ready to be deployed when the weather begins to turn. Two mesh pockets to the side of the pack will comfortably hold a 1L water bottle, the main compartment has an internal reservoir sleeve with a hose port in the back panel and a Hydraclip for easily hanging a reservoir. Compression straps reduce movement from equipment and pack size whilst the upper compression strap doubles as a walking pole attachment. A removable webbing hip belt and adjustable sternum strap help keep this pack in place and the upper scratch-free pocket features a key clip to keep your keys separate and easy to find. The Osprey Hikelite is compatible with a hydration reservoir.
