Featuring a 100% recycled nylon ripstop, the shell on the Fitz Roy Down jacket is super lightweight yet durable to ensure reliable use on rugged paths and hill sides. Additionally, a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish has been applied, effectively blocking rain and adverse weather from penetrating the jacket time and again. Within the jacket is 800-fill-power down that offers high loft warmth when temperatures drop; the down is 100% RDS certified by Control Union for humanely sourced materials. The jacket is particularly designed for cooler adventures, featuring a Vislon centre-front zipper and a internal storm flap that effectively blocks cold winds. The high-loft draft collar ensures your neck stays warm. To ensure heat is locked in, the cuffs feature elastic stitching, while the hem has a dual adjustable cord lock system to personalise the fit. Several pockets have been added, including two handwarmer pockets on either side, one internal zip pocket to store small valuables and a large internal catch-all pocket with an elastic opening for quick and easy storage. When the jacket is no longer required, you can easily pack it away into the left front pocket for convenient and secure transportation.
