Patagonia built the Nano Puff Gilet for climbers who needed a weather-resistant, lightweight and packable synthetic insulation layer that could stay warm even when wet and withstand seasons of use. The Patagonia Nano Puff Gilet is the ideal outdoor garment, keeping you warm while conforming to your every move, which is ideal for when temperatures start to decline. Made from a lightweight ripstop fabric, the gilet is a durable clothing option, resisting abrasion, wear and tear. The outer coat comes equipped with a wind and water-repellent DWR finish, which repels light rain showers and prevents the wind from penetrating the gilet, keeping you dry and warm throughout the day. The gilet is fitted with 60g PrimaLoft Gold Insulation Eco, which is a synthetic insulation material that is lightweight, compressible and boasts excellent warming properties, even when wet. The horizontal quilting pattern helps stabilise the insulation, effectively preventing the formation of cold spots. The high collar provides shielding against windy conditions, while the adjustable drawcord hem can be cinched in to help seal in warmth for a more personal feel. Two zippered hand pockets provide ample storage for small essentials, as well as being a prime place to keep your hands warm on cooler days. Completing the gilet is its ability to stuff inside the interior pocket, making it the ideal travelling companion for days when you need slightly more warmth in a hurry.
