Petzl Attache Screw Lock Carabiner

Thanks to its compact shape and SCREW-LOCK locking system, the ATTACHE is designed for multiple uses related to belaying: connecting a belay system to a harness, belaying with a Munter hitch... It has an H cross-section to reduce weight, as well as the Keylock system to avoid the carabiner snagging during manoeuvres.

Constructed using a pear shape, the Petzl Attache Screw Lock Carabiner has a large capacity for larger loads. Recommended when using a munter hitch or for storing equipment, the pear shape also allows for easy tying and untying. An H-shaped cross-section works to provide excellent handling when wearing gloves and protect any markings from abrasion. It also ensures an optimal strength to weight ratio so you'll always feel balanced even when carrying large loads. Featuring a screw-lock, the Attache Carabiner is ideal for occasional use in dirty environments where the conditions could cause an automatic locking system to jam. The screw-lock can be easily opened and either locked or not according to the user's needs. The red band provides a visual warning when the carabiner is unlocked. A keylock system also features on the carabiner to ensure optimal efficiency. It works to avoid any involuntary snagging of the carabiner onto anchors, ropes or harness gear. Lastly, the carabiner is designed, to have wide contact surfaces for better rope glide and reduced wear plus, it's very compact shape is ideal for belay stations
