Engineered Mesh Upper

Enhancing in-shoe comfort and providing plenty of protection, the Deviate Nitro 3 utilises an engineered mesh upper. Featuring strategically placed perforations, the shoes provide feet with a constant supply of fresh, cool air, preventing feet from overheating and keeping them comfortable throughout your running adventures. The shoes also feature PWRTAPE technology in high-stress areas to help prevent irritation and support your stride. A soft, padded collar and tongue provide a chafe-free wearing experience, to prevent rubbing and provide feet with a comfortable fit. Working alongside this, the Deviate Nitro 3 utilises a traditional lace-up closure to provide a locked-in, secure fit, preventing in-shoe slipping from occurring.

The upper of the shoes is made with at least 20% recycled materials.

NITROFOAM Midsole

Using Puma's nitrogen-infused thermoplastic foam, the Deviate Nitro 3 utilises a NITROFOAM midsole. NITROFOAM is an extremely lightweight, highly responsive cushioning. By infusing nitrogen into their foams, Puma has expanded the midsole, resulting in an exceptionally comfortable landing base. The foam enhances forward propulsion, helping you to hit those PBs while absorbing impact, reducing stress on your joints and the risk of injury or discomfort when running. The shoes use NITROFOAM for explosive energy return, adding a spring to your step and ensuring soft cushioning underfoot. A PWRPLATE carbon-fibre plate is also used underfoot to provide powerful propulsion and elite efficiency. The PWRPLATE has been designed to enhance stability and provide maximum energy transfer at toe-off.

PUMAGRIP Outsole

Constructed from a durable rubber compound, the Deviate Nitro 3s feature a PUMAGRIP outsole, providing high durability and superior levels of grip and traction, to keep you secure underfoot. Creating a grip with the ground below, the rubber has been strategically placed for multi-surface traction underfoot, even on wet ground, so you can stay focused on the road ahead.
