The one down jacket to see you through from the heights of summer to the depths of winter. The Microlighter is true year-round insulation, ideal for layering up on wintery hikes, or taking the edge off a chilly evening at the crag.

Designed for super lightweight protection in harsh environments, the Rab Microlighter jacket is perfect for outdoor adventures. Utilising Pertex Quantum technology, the outer layer of the jacket is exceptionally lightweight yet durable, designed to withstand extreme conditions. Pertex Quantum is both windproof and breathable, ensuring a balance of temperatures within the jacket for long-term comfort. The fabric is crafted from NetPlus yarn, which is made from fully traceable post-consumer recycled fishing nets. The durable nature of the fabric works to give you peace of mind on tough ascents, and it provides lightweight abrasion resistance so you'll never have to worry about tears. A durable water repellent (DWR) finish has been coated onto the jacket to increase the water repellence for dry comfort. Within is TXdown, which is a down-infused sheet insulation that sits close to the body, making it easier to layer and compress down when packed away. The down offers a combined warmth-to-weight ratio, with a blend of 75% natural fibres and 25% synthetic fibres to create down-infused wadding. This ensures the down stays securely in place within the jacket and eliminates cold spots, making it great for active use in cold weather. The sleeves of the jacket are designed with articulation in mind to offer you better mobility and arm reach when climbing. A centre-front zip has been incorporated to facilitate an easy cool-down or provide insulated warmth, complemented by an insulated baffle that shields against harsh winds. Additionally, a drawcord hem enables you to personalise the fit and trap warmth. Finally, two hand-warming zip pockets have been added to either side.
