Textile Fabric Upper
The upper of the Speedcross CSWP is constructed from a Textile fabric which is water resistant, helping to block water from entering the shoe. Breathable Mesh has also been used in the uppers construction which is superbly breathable and fast drying, allowing cool air to flow into the shoe at the same time as allowing warm air to be released, therefore keeping the inside of the shoe cool, dry and comfortable. A QuickLace fastening system has been added to the Speedcross CSWP which allows the wearer to quickly and effectively adjust the fit and feel of the shoe for a comfortable and secure fit.
A Lace Pocket has been added to the shoe, allowing the lace end to be tucked away neatly to reduce the change of snag and tear that often occurs on rugged trails. A Synthetic Cap has been added to the toe area of the shoe to help protect the front of the foot from possible injury that could be caused by loose and rough terrain that can be found on the trail. A ClimaSalomon Membrane has been added inside the shoe which blocks out all water even in heavy downpours to keep the foot and the inside of the shoe fully dry and comfortable.
Injected EVA Midsole
An Injected EVA has been chosen for the midsole construction as it offers supreme cushioning for under the foot as well as helping the shoe mould to the foot to offer much needed support, giving the wearer comfort and stability as they train. An EVA Sockliner has been added inside the boot to offer the wearer additional cushioning as well as superb breathability, helping to keep the foot cool and dry as well as comfortable.
Contagrip Outsole
The Speedcross CSWP outsole is constructed from High Traction Contagrip which is a superbly long lasting rubber which will keep the bottom of the foot protected. The Contagrip also helps the boot to grip loose, uneven and damp surfaces that you may come across on the trail, keeping the wearer stable on their feet. Non Marking Contagrip has been added to the high abrasion areas of the outsole to help the shoe prevent wear as well as offering extra grip.
