Synthetic Upper

Designed using a synthetic upper, the Genesis Mid keeps water at bay while remaining highly breathable so you can walk with confidence no matter the weather. The durable upper offers a wide range of protection to help you get the maximum from your footwear. Perforations in the fabric increase airflow to create a better, healthier environment for your feet to thrive in. The GORE-TEX membrane supplies a combination of durable waterproofing and optimised breathability for dry, comfortable feet. Sometimes it's hard to stay dry without developing that distracting clammy feeling, but GORE-TEX keeps water on the outside while letting perspiration escape from the inside, keeping sweat to a minimum and you cool and comfy. A textile lining encases each foot in breathable comfort, while the heel pull tabs assist in putting the boots on and off. A gusseted tongue is connected to the upper on both sides, preventing debris from entering the boot and keeping the tongue centred, while the protective toe cap shields your toes from rocks and uneven surfaces. To get the best fit, the quickLACE uses a minimalistic, strong lace for one-pull tightening, allowing an easy on and off and secure feel.

Crafted using a springy and comfortable midsole compound that delivers superior cushioning while smoothing out your landings for a fluid ride, the Genesis Mid provides lightweight and responsive cushioning. OptiFOAM is a lightweight, responsive and resilient foam that powers your stride forward. The foam delivers a maximum level of cushioning to ensure optimum in-shoe comfort and a responsive ride. Shock-absorbing properties prevent discomfort or injury by absorbing the impact caused by striking down on tough and changing surfaces. Additionally, the Genesis has an activeCHASSIS to provide a great amount of support, helping to further prevent injuries from occurring and keeping feet comfortable. A moulded OrthoLite sockliner is extremely soft and comfortable and works to wick away moisture, keeping the feet cool and dry at all times.

All-Terrain contaGRIP Outsole

The Genesis Mid features an All-Terrain contaGRIP outsole, providing unique traction technology and an all-terrain grip. The durable rubber is built for the widest variety of surfaces, and balances both the geometry and the rubber compound to deliver confidence on wet, dry, hard or loose surfaces, offering long-term durability. The outsole adapts to the terrain, even when it's wet or slippery, giving you more control, especially on descents. When moving on wet and muddy ground, the boot's deep multi-directional lugs dig into the ground, anchoring you in place. This will also benefit you by acting as a solid base from which you can push off when taking a stride, as well as digging into the ground when braking or changing direction.
