GORE-TEX Upper

Providing your feet with a constant supply of airflow and exceptional waterproof protection, the XA PRO 3D V9 GORE-TEX Trail Shoes utilise a breathable GORE-TEX upper. GORE-TEX materials provide optimum protection on the trails by preventing rain and moisture from entering the shoe even in poor, changing weather, including snowy conditions. SensiFit technology has been implemented into the upper, cradling your midfoot from the midsole up to the laces, helping you stabilise over uneven and unpredictable terrain. For added protection on the trails, a toe cap has been added, reducing injury risk from snags and bumps and keeping your focus on the path ahead. Finally, a quickLACE system has been utilised for simple, quick use, allowing you to tighten them in one movement while never loosening unexpectedly for complete confidence in wear.

EnergyCell + Midsole

The XA Pro 3D v9 has an EnergyCell+ midsole that provides high energy return and substantial cushioning over the long haul. The midsole provides both comfort and protection thanks to its dual-density EVA. Towards the bottom, the EVA is extremely firm, absorbing shocks instantly and effectively, preventing damage to the sole. The energy produced will also be returned as a rebound, adding a spring to your step. The higher in the midsole, the EVA becomes less dense, making every step feel comfortable. The midsole protects against unpredictable and rocky terrain as you move through the trails. Lastly, the midsole has been fitted with Salomon's low-profile Advanced Chassis, which is placed between the outsole and midsole to maximise security, motion control and energy management for a stable and responsive ride.

All-Terrain Contagrip Outsole

With an updated outsole compared to its predecessors, the XA Pro 3D V9 still uses an All-Terrain Contagrip Outsole, providing unmatched grip and traction on varied terrain. The full rubber outsole provides premium traction on loose terrain, ensuring a solid bond between you and the ground. The Contagrip outsole is built for the widest variety of surfaces; it ensures confidence on wet, dry, hard or loose surfaces whilst offering long-term durability so you can go further for longer with complete confidence in your footwear. The outsole also features multi-directional lugs which dig deep into the ground when braking or changing direction. The deep lugs anchor the foot into wet and muddy ground, securing you in place whilst forming a solid base to push off from.
