Engineered Mesh Upper

Designed using an engineered mesh, the upper of the Aero Blaze 4 allows cool air to circulate while at the same time removing unwanted warm air, helping to regulate temperature and create a perfect microclimate where feet can thrive. The fabric also offers more support and durability, while ensuring a smooth transition through the gait cycle. A soft, textile lining has been added to increase comfort, and the padded heel collar and tongue reduce the chance of irritation being caused by rubbing. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system, which locks the midfoot to prevent excessive movement for a secure and personalised fit.

optiFOAM² Midsole

Using an optiFOAM² midsole, the Aero Blaze 4 features a lightweight, responsive foam compound for optimum underfoot comfort and outstanding energy return. Softening your landing from road running surfaces to trail adventures, the midsole adds bounce to every stride, keeping you fast and light. Absorbing shocks when striking down on changing terrain, the compound prevents discomfort, in turn reducing injury and returning energy to push you toward your next mile. This is teamed with a reverse Camber. Inspired by Salomon's ski heritage, this curved midsole geometry helps you feel like you are floating over the ground. A moulded OrthoLite sockliner matches the contours of your feet, providing even more cushioning and adding durability for step-in comfort.

Road Contagrip Outsole

Featuring a Road Contagrip outsole, the Aero Blaze 4 forms a solid grip between the shoe and the terrain. The rubber is also extremely durable and abrasion-resistant, providing long-term control. Combining flat, wide lugs for grip on flat, hard surfaces with a compound that balances durability and adhesion, making this ideal for road running. This will also benefit you by providing a solid base to push off from when taking a stride, braking and changing direction.
