Scarpa Terra GORE-TEX Junior Walking Boots
A sturdy boot for hiking and light trekking, the Terra is suitable for urban use in cold and rainy winters, thanks to the water-repellent suede upper and the waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX lining. The sole is injected directly onto the shoe, for child-resistant strength; it features a non-slip rubber outsole and ultra-light material midsole.
GORE-TEX Upper
Surrounding the upper of the Terra Walking Boot, there is a GORE-TEX layer that provides durable waterproofing. A sealed layer combines with other shoe textiles, binding and sealing the upper which as a result stops water from entering the shoe. After being blocked out, moisture is then wicked away by the fabric, resulting in the shoe remaining lightweight. Despite sealing moisture out from the outside, warm air inside the shoe is able to escape, keeping the feet feeling fresh and ventilated. A lacing system also makes finding a secure and comfortable fit easy to do with secure metal eyelets and hooks, holding them into place. A padded ankle collar and tongue increase comfort and reduce the risk of irritation caused by chafing.
Vibram Integra Junior Outsole
Exceptional grip is provided by the Integra Junior outsole, which keeps their feet firmly planted on the path. The durable rubber is abrasion-resistant and is able to form a solid connection between the boot and ground across a wide range of volatile terrain. Deep lugs are able to dig into wet surfaces, which will make you feel a lot more stable and secure when pushing off on each step. This Integra Junior sole with rubber outsole and midsole in PU is injected directly into the upper for maximum comfort.
