Single Mesh TPEE and Stretch Nylon Upper

Suiting pro-athletes and experienced runners seeking a precise, light trail companion, the Alien Sky is ideal. Utilising a lightweight single mesh TPEE upper, the shoes keep feet well-contained and comfortable on difficult trail days. This single mesh features perforations throughout the fabric, helping to keep your feet cool and fresh under pressure by allowing air to flow freely inside. Stretch nylon inserts add flexibility to the upper, wrapping comfortably around your foot to provide a snug and secure fit. With second-skin precision, the upper moves with you, offering a supportive, natural feel that keeps distractions at bay. The non-dyed microfibre stretch textile lining offers next-to-skin comfort and an extra layer of protection for focused runs. Its moisture-wicking properties help prevent sweat and moisture buildup, keeping your feet dry when it counts most. Traditional laces enhance the fit by locking down the midfoot, preventing excess movement during your run, and work together with the integrated gaiter to keep out rocks and sand.

TECH-AR/01 Midsole

Adding soft, plush cushioning to your trails, the Alien Sky utilises a mono-layer midsole in 100% Supercritical Foam A-TPU for the perfect balance of lightness, responsive rebound, and durability. The compound is super soft and has optimal shock absorption to absorb impact from striking down onto tough, less-forgiving surfaces and reduce injury when traversing tricky terrain. A stable heel and a dynamic, propulsive forefoot allow control on steep and technical trails, keeping you focused on the next hurdle and in control of your adventure. Sandwiched between the mono foam, a 3D-shaped nylon forefoot plate is engineered to optimise volume distribution and maximise contact efficiency, ensuring a smooth and fast foot transition. Working with this, the midsole utilises Scarpa's Flow Arch forefoot geometry for a smooth transition and a fast toe-off.

Vibram Megagrip Outsole

Super durable, the Vibram Megagrip outsole allows you to generate outstanding grip and traction on varied terrain, keeping you stable and secure. Digging deep on tough trail conditions, the outsole is super grippy and uses 4mm lugs to ensure optimal traction on varied terrain. Allowing you to power through, the outsole is super durable for long-lasting reliability and optimum control across difficult conditions, with no superfluous elements.
