Skins Women's Active Compression Socks

The Skins Women's Active Compression Socks are constructed using a variety of technologies that help you perform at your highest optimum level.

The Skins Women's Active Compression Socks feature a dynamic gradient compression that helps enhance circulation and oxygen delivery to active muscles and help clear blood lactate. In addition, the socks reduce fatigue and risk of injury with targeted support to your calf muscles, whilst an arch wrap support is added to reduce strain and impact on the sole.

Superior shock absorption comes from comfortable, soft fall cushioning that enhances comfort during activity and provides plush cushioning to the sole of the foot. A moisture management system is embedded within the yarns of the socks to wick sweat and excess moisture as it's produced. Once the excess moisture has been wicked, the socks then transfer it to the outer layers of the fabric where it can be easily evaporated, ensuring you stay cool, dry and comfortable.

Additionally, the anti-chafing yarns are a feature to remember as they reside in the heel and toe area to reduce friction and blister development. The socks feature Skins very own antifungal copper technology that works with the moisture management system to prevent the growth of odour causing microbes. Lastly, the socks feature specific left and right construction that offers extra comfort.

A Brief History of SKINS

In 1996, an Aussie skier had a bold ambition to feel ten years younger so he could ski all day, party all night and be ready the next morning do it all again. His starting point was the knowledge that improved blood circulation would supply more oxygen to his muscles, helping them work harder for longer and recover faster. So he consulted with NASA and other experts to confirm he was on to something. Turns out he was.

Soon word got out that there were these things called SKINS that improved your power, speed, stamina and recovery. Pro athletes were the first to start wearing them. Before long, amateur athletes joined the party.
