Silva Free Runner 1100 Headlamp

With 1100 lumens, a flat, lightweight battery and an ultralight, minimalistic, adjustable headband, the modular Free Runner 1100 offers a light, comfortable fit optimised for running.

The Free Runner 1100 from Silva is built for runners who want strong, comfortable light on dark forest trails, urban roads and fast-paced training sessions. The headtorch consists of a lamp unit (95g) and a slim, flat battery (96g). An ultralight and adjustable minimalist headband provides a comfortable fit. The integrated textile cable extends so you can carry the battery in a pocket or running vest. This extends battery life and reduces weight on your head, for a smoother, almost weightless feel. The lamp features 4 brightness levels. When running darker, more technical sections, Silva includes Speed Mode for an instant brightness boost so you can keep your pace with confidence. The lamp increases light output when cooling from wind, speed or when cold air is sufficient; it can run for 50 minutes depending on the lamp, battery and cooling. Speed Mode shortens burn time, so when you no longer need it, switch back to another mode for the extra power. Silva has added Airflow Technology for efficient cooling and Silva Intelligent Light, a unique combination of a long-reach spotlight and close floodlight for stable, reliable visibility and sustained performance at higher speeds. The Silva Free range is the world's first modular headlamp to use integrated cables through the headband to enhance comfort and flexibility; it also lets you swap Lamp units, batteries and mounts for different activities. The headtorch is water-resistant; both the headlamp and battery meet the IPX5 standard.
