The North Face Summit Alpine Gloves
Built for fast climbs in alpine conditions, the Summit Alpine Gloves are a winning combination of durable yet breathable fabric and insulating Heatseeker Pro.
When you're out on the trail, you need gloves you can rely on. That's where the Summit Gloves step in. They have been designed using goat leather on the palm overlay, palm-side finger panel and thumb, which helps to increase durability and protection and is handy when you're working with equipment. A Progressive Precurve design has been added to the gloves, which is the cumulative increase of curvature from index finger to pinkie, creating a more natural shape for your fingers as they relax in the glove. A non-PFC DWR finish has been added to the gloves for increased water repellency. Heatseeker Pro high-performance synthetic insulation also resides in the gloves to offer an excellent warmth-to-weight ratio, packability and loft recovery, while a carabiner loop on the back of the ring finger can be used to attach the gloves to a carabiner for easy transportation when not in use. The knit cuffs assist in putting the gloves on and off, while the soft-knit, super-cosy brushed-tricot lining offers additional comfort. A wrist leash helps prevent the gloves from dropping, and a riveted-metal pairing snap helps keep them together when you're not wearing them, while a nose wipe helps keep you distraction-free. Completing the gloves is a heat transfer logo on the back of the hand and the Summit Series logo on the wrist closure for added style.
