Utilising FUTURELIGHT, the Frontier jacket is breathable and waterproof, protecting you from rain and snow whilst keeping you cool, dry and comfortable during your outdoor adventures. FUTURELIGHT is The North Face's most advanced breathable-waterproof fabric technology, engineered for exceptional comfort and protection in wet weather conditions, keeping you dry inside and out. Its unique fabric technology not only provides an impenetrable barrier to rain and snow but also allows air to pass through, regulating your body temperature to keep you cooler for longer. A non-PFC DWR finish has been added for extra water repellency, while the raglan sleeves allow for a full range of movement, without restrictions holding you back. An exposed centre front zip with an internal draft flap and chin guard assists in putting the jacket on and off and can also be used to control ventilation, while the adjustable hook-and-loop cuff tabs ensure a close finish and help to trap heat. The attached, three-piece hood with a drawcord and riveted cord locks offers additional protection from the elements, while the pit-zips along the side seam help to increase breathability. Bellowed hand pockets with YKK AquaGuard zips and internal, drop-in pockets behind the hand pockets offer ample space to store all your essential items, with the land hand pocket acting as a stow bag for when the jacket isn't needed for easy transportation. The extended centre back length provides full coverage, and completing the jacket is an internal shock-cord with a cord lock at the hem, which allows you to alter the fit of the jacket to a more personal one.
