Designed for extreme weather conditions, the Summit Torre Egger FUTURELIGHT Trousers defy the challenges of high alpine climbing.

Made from three-layer waterproof FUTURELIGHT fabric, these alpine trousers have been designed to keep you dry and comfortable in the harshest conditions. Not only is the fabric waterproof, but it's breathable, allowing built-up heat to escape while allowing cool air to circulate, keeping you comfortable, even when your climb becomes challenging. Lightrange has also been incorporated into the pants, an ultra-light, highly breathable UPF performance fabric that provides UV defence without weighing you down. For a comfortable feel, The North Face has added multiple features such as an enclosed-elastic back waistband panel with an adjustable, non-slip belt and integrated belt loops to provide a secure fit. Articulated knees and a lightweight crotch gusset enhance comfort and allow a greater range of motion. Two-snap circumference adjustment at the leg openings helps you to change the fit, making it easier to wear over boots while assisting with airflow. If you like your essential gear close, there are roomy, harness-compatible thigh pockets. Completing the pants are removable suspenders for reduced bulk and integrated stretch gaiters for a seamless fit with a variety of mountaineering boots.
