Waterproof DryVent Upper

Protecting against wet, muddy and cold conditions, the upper of the Fastpack Waterproof is great for just that. With a breathable mesh, air has the ability to circulate continuously around the foot for a fresh feeling. Perforations within the material allow for warm air to escape, in turn allowing cool air to refresh and reduce fatigue. North Face have included a DryVent membrane to ensure protection from the elements, this consists of layers of engineered fabric that is waterproof and windproof without sacrificing breathability. Below the layers sits a polyester lining, helping to provide comfort in-shoe to minimise the chance of irritation when on the move. On the outer is a PU-coated leather rand, a protective strip to shield your feet from bumps and scrapes. At the top of the upper is a soft collar, this sits snugly against the skin to prevent dirt and debris from entering the shoes, keeping the path ahead distraction free while the traditional lacing system secures the foot for an immovable fit. To complete the upper is a reflective heel pull tab, this doubles as improving visibility in low light conditions and also assisting with easy slip-in movement.

EVA Foam Midsole

The Fastpack Waterpoof Mid utilise a single-density EVA midsole for softly propelling young explorers towards their checkpoint. The boots have plush cushioning for underfoot comfort over uneven and harsh terrain. With shock-absorption properties, the foam reduces the risk of discomfort and possible injury during hiking adventures. An added die-cut EVA sock liner sits atop the midsole for lightweight cushioning.

Non-Marking Rubber Outsole

Providing optimum grip and traction, the rubber outsole boosts confidence in every step, no matter the terrain. Underfoot support is provided due to the durable outsole, keeping feet protected for prolonged periods of time.
