The North Face created the Ridgelite FUTUREFLEECE Wind Jacket specifically for high-output hiking missions. The outer is made from windproof WindWall fabric, while the inner harnesses an ultra-light, supersoft FUTUREFLEECE lining. Together, they provide all-day comfort and protection.

The fabric has also been treated with a Non-PFC DWR coating, shielding you from light rain. The lining has been engineered using FUTUREFLEECE to ensure an excellent warmth-to-weight ratio, keeping you cosy and warm throughout your adventure. The fabric traps additional warmth and works to deliver a soft, comfortable feel next to the skin. This lightweight material provides warmth, breathability, and soft comfort for wearing in harsher, chilly environments. A full-length zip provides easy on-and-off and allows you to control the airflow with ease, while the zippered hand pockets offer ample space to store your essential items or a refuge for your hands when the temperature drops. The internal hem adjuster enables you to alter the fit to a more personal one, whilst elasticated cuffs sit close to the wrist for additional comfort and prevent wind chill from getting in. The adjustable three-piece hood ensures complete protection from the elements and doubles as a stuff sack to pack the jacket into when not in use. Completing the jacket is a reflective bar on the lower back, which enhances visibility in low-light conditions.
