Favourite distance: Cross country's in winter and 5k & 10k's on road
Terrain to train on: Off road as much as possible, ideally on the South Downs, otherwise round the trails and parks in London. Track session once a week.
How often: 5-6 days a week running with strength and conditioning a couple of times a week
Favourite shoes: Asics GT range
Spring goal: Sub 1:24 half marathon (and sub 3 hour marathon 2017)
Why I run: I love being part of Lewes AC, a good group of people to have fun with. Running outside in the country is an amazing de-stresser and really helps clear my head after a long day at work.
Favourite distance: Half-marathon
Terrain to train on: Footpaths and trails on the South Downs, or country lanes near Lewes
How often: Seven to nine runs per week, 60-70 miles per week
Favourite shoes: Nike Lunar Tempo
Spring goal: Begin preparing for summer marathon schedule pre-Berlin Marathon, aiming for sub-2hr 30min
Why I run: To allow me to eat stacks of bread-based treats: brioche, muffins, bagels...oh, and because I'm addicted; the effects on mental state can't be achieved through any other means, at least not legally!
