Featuring FF Blast cushioning through the midsole, it's designed to help create cloud-like cushioning and a more energetic response. Engineered Jacquard Mesh

Constructed from an engineered jacquard mesh, the upper of the GT-1000 14 is super soft, flexible and highly breathable to keep you comfortable on long runs. The lightweight materials work with the natural motion of your feet to provide flexible, unrestricted movement. Perforations in the fabric provide constant airflow for cool, fresh sensations, increasing breathability and reducing risk of overheating or discomfort, keeping you focused on the run ahead. For comfortable runs in poor weather, including snowy conditions, the shoes feature a GORE-TEX upper to provide complete waterproof coverage. The GORE-TEX construction prevents rain and snow from entering the shoe's interior, allowing you to enjoy all weather types, including those unpredictable changes. Moisture-wicking properties help keep feet dry and comfortable by quickly wicking excess sweat from the surface of your skin, dispersing it through the fabric's construction, for the best in-shoe experience. Reduced seams keep things comfortable by preventing the risks of irritation or chafing during excessive movement, and the tongue and collar sit soft against your skin to further ensure comfort. The heel and tongue loop assist in putting the shoes on and off. Finally, the laces provide you with a secure, adjustable fit that locks down the midfoot to prevent in-shoe slipping when you're on the move.

FF Blast Midsole

This lightweight compound keeps you super light and responsive on your feet, whilst allowing you to endure every mile. Softening your landing, the cushioning's exceptional energy return properties push you towards your next record. The shock-absorbing properties absorb the impact when striking down on tough, less-forgiving surfaces, sparing your joints and keeping you energetic. The shoes feature an updated, soft version of ASICS' GEL technology, which is approximately 65% softer compared to standard GEL technology. This also encourages smoother heel-to-toe transitions and a more enjoyable ride, whilst the Hybrid Max Lite sockliner adds even more underfoot comfort and cushioning properties. The sockliner is moisture-wicking to keep feet dry when the run gets intense. To provide adaptive, on-demand stability, the shoes feature a 3D GUIDANCE SYSTEM that uses platform geometry and controlled deformation to help reduce overpronation, keeping you supported and enhancing smooth transitions.

AHAR LO Outsole

Extremely durable underfoot, the GT-1000 14 GORE-TEX shoes feature grippy rubber in the form of an AHAR LO outsole. AHAR LO is a lower-density rubber that has been strategically placed in areas of the sole that require more grip and traction, without sacrificing the overall durability of the outsole. This unique combination of rubber provides optimum grip, traction and stability across a variety of running surfaces, and is durable for long-lasting reliability. The GORE-TEX upgrade of the GT-1000 14 features deep lugs for increased traction, an improved soft outsole and increased durability to support you on a mixture of terrains.
