The versatile, and exceptionally technical Changtse Shell Jacket has a multitude of Gore-Tex products throughout the construction, therefore providing you with the perfect garment for everchanging weather conditions. The most breathable fabric in the Gore-Tex range, Gore-Tex Active Shell is ever-present, and has been carefully placed in areas to keep you cool, but also dry in high heat areas of your body. Most importantly this fabric is an innovative waterproof material to keep you dry, even during heavy rainfall. Alongside this, is the new generation Gore-Tex Paclite Plus fabric which also provides you with enhanced durability in the more abrasion-prone areas of your body. This includes around the chest and under the arms, whereas Performance Fit Gore-Tex Topo Stretch provides additional stretchable waterproof protection around areas such as the cuffs and hem, for enhanced comfort and a great fit. To keep you cool across the more punishing routes, airflow is better controlled with the Berghaus Vapour Storm vent which is present at the top of the back, and controlled ventilation from the underarm YKK Aquaguard zip. The Changtse Shell allows you to keep essentials secure and dry by using a water-resistant zipped chest pocket, so you can access them easily. Additionally, a two-way YKK Aquaguard front zip also keeps wind, rain and snow out, and allows you to further control the airflow through the jacket. Not only this but, the two-way centre front zip works great with a climbing harness. Finally, the jacket has a superb single-point adjustable, helmet-compatible hood to provide you with coverage and protection during changing weather conditions.
