Using Dare 2b's innovative AEP Kinematics technology, the jacket uses body mapping technology to help achieve the closest and most comfortable fit that works with your movements. The body mapping technology will identify how much movement is needed, sitting around you for a completely unrestricted and comfortable fit. The material can stretch in four different ways, which will also free up movement, giving you the confidence to be active in the jacket without worrying about causing any lasting damage to it. The material is waterproof and breathable. Moisture is blocked from entering the surface of the jacket, keeping you dry in any conditions. The surface of the material is coated in a durable water repellent finish, which will mean that standing water will be removed instantly and effectively, keeping the jacket lightweight. As you start to exercise, your body will quickly warm up which will warm the air inside the jacket. This air can then escape out of the material where it is then replaced by cooler air from outside. This constant process will keep you feeling ventilated over a long period of time. For further breathability, the underarm has two-way zippers which open up a zone for air to flow in and out for ventilation. The jacket uses SeamSmart technology which improves the fit of the jacket, and reduces the risk of irritation from occurring by rubbing and chafing, as the seams are flat-lying. The seams are also taped, which will seal out any moisture from going in any opening. The hood will fully cover the head for shelter and heat retention, and it also has a wired peak to allow you to shape it how you want it. A high collar and adjusters will also allow you to seal out the rain. For further freedom of movement to the upper body, the articulated sleeve design will allow a full range of movement without restriction or discomfort. The lining is made from part stretch mesh, part polyester water-resistant taffeta lining, which will allow you to make more movements without being held back. Down the front of the jacket, there is a two-way water repellent centre front zip, which will again seal out water as well as block out wind. There is an inner zip which will offer further protection from the elements, and a chin guard will feel supremely comfortable. An easily adjustable shockcord hem system will make it easy to change the fit around the waist, which will seal out the wind.
